15 Influential Women We Should All Be Following

Photo by Giftpundits.com

I've been going through a bit of a rough patch with my mental health lately, some of you may have seen on Twitter that I actually relapsed after 9 years of being self-harm free. Now more than ever, I've been trying to reduce toxicity in every aspect of my life and surround myself with positivity, and that includes social media.

Being a blogger means I have to keep a strong presence on all social platforms, but that doesn't mean I should sacrifice my mental health in the process. So how do I keep my feed as positive as possible? It's simple - I block every account that is toxic and I follow every account that spreads positivity, in particular, females who inspire and empower the shit out of me!

I'd just quickly like to give some honorary mentions of other social influencers that inspire me;

Sophie Sierra

Sophie is the blogger behind Soinspo, and is an absolute ray of sunshine! I adore Sophie and the positivity, kindness, love and support that she is always showing me and others within the community.

Mariesha May

I first discovered Mariesha through her Youtube channel, and I'm so glad I did because she is the epitome of positivity. Not only does she spread nothing but positive vibes in her videos, she also uses her social media presence to share helpful self care and mental health tips.

Stacie

Stacie is the wonderful woman behind Sleek For Yourself, and is absolutely one of my favourite people to follow on Instagram. She is just so real, honest and positive - all of which makes her an incredible person to follow, even on bad mental health days.

Hannah Bassett

Hannah, the blogger behind 'Made with Love', is one of the most supportive bloggers in the community. I relate to her in many ways, beyond the fact that we share the same name. Her writing style, paired with her open and positive vibes, make her, not only one of my favourite bloggers, but one of my favourite people on social media.

All of these women inspire and empower me in many different ways, every day - whether it be through their work, their charity work, or simply spreading positivity on social media. I highly recommend that you also fill your social feeds with these incredible females and others like them. You can find each of them on Instagram by clicking on their quote images.

Love, Han
