Welcome to this weeks Bloggers Uncensored! This is my longest running blog series, and definitely my favourite. This series is a perfect opportunity to read your favourite bloggers' honest and uncensored opinions on real life topics, and to discover new bloggers that you can start following! This weeks blogger is Catherine J.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I am a produce clerk at Publix. I like to read books, watch TV, and write on my blog.

Why do you write?

I write because it makes me happy.

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging as a way to get my thoughts out to a wider audience.

What do you love about the blogging world/community?

I love the comaraderie of the community. Most of us support each other and want everyone to do good.

What do you hate about the blogging world/community?

I sometimes hate the social media aspect of the blog world. It seems people get hyper-focused on their social media presence over their blog.

In your opinion, who are the most underrated bloggers?

The most underrated bloggers are the ones who pour their heart out to readers knowing it may or may not go well.

What are some hard truths you have learnt about life?

Life does not always go as planned.

What does freedom mean to you?

Freedom is the ability to live how you want and enjoy your life.

What are your thoughts on mental health and how it's portrayed in today's society?

Mental health has come a long way in how it is portrayed in society. People have finally come around to understanding that mental health is as important as physical health. There is still work to be done.

What are your thoughts on feminism and how it's portrayed in today's society?

Feminism gets a bad rep. Unfortunately it is still not a widely understood practice. People misconstrue feminism and it's principles.

What are your thoughts on 'Love is Love' and how it's portrayed in today's society?

The slogan 'Love is Love' came from the Pulse tragedy. Lin Manuel Miranda said the line in his 2016 Tony acceptance speech. The Tony Awards aired the night after the Pulse nightclub shooting that took the life of 49 people. It was a very moving speech that Lin gave. 'Love is Love' means that all love should be accepted.

What advice would you give to someone who is fighting a mental illness?

I would tell them to keep fighting as best they can.

What advice would you give to someone who is being bullied or harassed?

I would tell them to get an authority figure involved and if that doesn't work, fight back.

If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?

I would rid the world of hate. Hate has been the foundation of this world, and it is time that it stops. I'm tired of all the hate in this world.

What else do you feel strongly about?

I feel that we all should be able to live freely how we are. We should have free healthcare. Student loans should be forgiven. Guns should be regulated better. Abortion should be free and legal.

Let's end this with some fun 'This or That' questions:

Love or money?

I'll take love over money.

Work hard or play hard?

Work hard so that I can play hard later.

Cups in the cupboard: right side up or upside down?

Cups should be right side up in the cupboard.

Chocolate or sex?

Chocolate will always be better than sex.

Plan everything or wing it?

Wing it.

Happiness or money?

Happiness over money.
