Bloggers Uncensored: with Have A Look At This

Welcome to this weeks Bloggers Uncensored! This is my longest running blog series, and definitely my favourite. This series is a perfect opportunity to read your favourite bloggers' honest and uncensored opinions on real life topics, and to discover new bloggers that you can start following! This weeks blogger is Wayne from Have A Look At This.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I'm a freshly turned 40 year old actor/writer/director from the North East of England. Newly married with no children...unless you count my playstation?

Why do you write?

I write as an escape, as a way to refocus my mind and soul. It's nice to get away from the real world for a while, writing is a good way to do that!

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because of my now wife @stacyisreading, who's become a successful book blogger. Also because of the reason in my previous answer.

What do you love about the blogging world/community?

Community, a lot of people out there are willing to help you, take you under a wing, share your content. It's a great support network.

What do you hate about the blogging world/community?

Followers who follow you, then unfollow just to get there numbers up!

In your opinion, who are the most underrated bloggers?

Mum/Mother and family blogger's. I think fashion/make up/lifestyle takes the spotlight.

What are some hard truths you have learnt about life?

Don't take it too serious, live it and live it now. We don't know which day is our last!

What does freedom mean to you?

The world.

What are your thoughts on mental health and how it's portrayed in today's society?

It's still treated as a Taboo subject. Especially in men, very much looked down upon for men to open up about it.

What are your thoughts on feminism and how it's portrayed in today's society?

Too many people, both male and female don't actually know what feminism is. They bark and fight for it/about it without knowing what true feminism is and what is stands for.

What are your thoughts on 'Love is Love' and how it's portrayed in today's society?

When we label something it becomes something that can be attacked. But love is definitely love, no matter who or what you love. As long as it is true and not hurtful. Society will always have criticism for things they don't understand.

What advice would you give to someone who is fighting a mental illness?

Talk to someone, anyone. You are not alone and it's ok to struggle, but struggle with someone by your side. Makes it easier and makes sense.

What advice would you give to someone who is being bullied or harassed?

Again, talk to someone. Don't let it go unnoticed, nobody deserves to be bullied.

If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?

What else do you feel strongly about?

Hot sauce.

Let's end this with some fun 'This or That' questions:

Love or money?

Work hard or play hard?

Play hard...all day and night.

Cups in the cupboard: right side up or upside down?

Upside down...keeps the spiders out.

Chocolate or sex?

Put them both together.

Plan everything or wing it?

Wing it.

Happiness or money?
