Tell us a little about yourself.

Hello I go by the name KwerkeGal on social media. I am in the early mid stages of being a niche-less blogger. I also podcast and experiment with influencer marketing.

Why do you write?

I write because it's a hobby I have always loved. I stopped as I got older but last year I got back into it.

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because it reignited my passion for writing.

What do you love about the blogging world/community?

I think what I love the most is that mostly everyone is positive. The blogging community has been quite welcoming.

What do you hate about the blogging world/community?

What I hate is that the rookie bloggers are sometimes overshadowed by the seasoned bloggers.

In your opinion, who are the most underrated bloggers?

I am steering clear of drama and I would say generally new bloggers.

What are some hard truths you have learnt about life?

Some hard truths is as we get older we outgrow many of our childhood friends.

What does freedom mean to you?

Freedom means to me having the life you truly desire.

What are your thoughts on mental health and how it's portrayed in today's society?

I think mental health is a serious issue that's often overlooked. We need to be open more to talk about it. When you get issues like that out in the open you can take power back from it.

What are your thoughts on feminism and how it's portrayed in today's society?

I am all for feminism! I do think it's often distorted in today's society. But just knowing it's a movement excites me.

What are your thoughts on 'Love is Love' and how it's portrayed in today's society?

Hmmm well love is love. This can be answered in so many different ways. My only opinion on this is that I hope we all have and experience the type of love that will last until forever.

What advice would you give to someone who is fighting a mental illness?

My advice is don't give up and fight for you to get over that hurdle.

What advice would you give to someone who is being bullied or harassed?

Let your voice be heard! Stand up for yourself and don't tolerate being belittled.

If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?

It's so many things but racism is definitely at the top of my list.

What else do you feel strongly about?

I feel strongly about female empowerment. I really feel like we are special and we make the world go around.

Let's end this with some fun 'This or That' questions:

Love or money?

Hmmm I would say money...but what is life without love?

Work hard or play hard?

Play hard and enjoy life.

Cups in the cupboard: right side up or upside down?

I like my cups upside down.

Chocolate or sex?

Both.

Plan everything or wing it?

I am a planner.

Happiness or money?

Happiness is everything.
