Tell us a little about yourself.
Hello everyone, this is Mikhaela, a lifestyle blogger that focuses on travel, fashion and lifestyle, hail in the beautiful country of the Philippines. I'm a college graduate in BS Travel Management which is why I love travelling.
Why do you write?
I really don't consider myself as a writer but let's just say it's part of my daily routine as a blogger and also I want to help women to be open and fearless to deal with life's adventures haha.
Why did you start blogging?
Few years back then I really felt depressed of not knowing on what path I should choose to reach goals but suddenly I found one admirable person, she is also a blogger like me and through that sense I'd say to myself I want to be like her in order to help, inspire or motivate other people to have their purpose in life.
What do you love about the blogging world/community?
Non-stop learning, sharing, loving and caring towards each others goals or purpose.
What do you hate about the blogging world/community?
The quite hard competition when it comes to collaborating with brands.
In your opinion, who are the most underrated bloggers?
I can't name one. Sorry. But I might say most newbie bloggers are underrated?
What are some hard truths you have learnt about life?
You need to be strong and be yourself more or less to find your meaningful success.
What does freedom mean to you?
Having freedom means you are doing what you love.
What are your thoughts on mental health and how it's portrayed in today's society?
Due to many cases of social media bullying, like constructive judgment or any unwanted circumstances happen in minutes or day could lead to depression and that is the saddest part of today's society.
What are your thoughts on feminism and how it's portrayed in today's society?
Through the years, finally, the LGBT community has been established. I could say it's a good action. I support them literally because anyone should be diverse to cope up with this kind of social things.
What are your thoughts on 'Love is Love' and how it's portrayed in today's society?
I do believe that love is really blind. Don't you think so today's society has been wide open to this kind of awareness? Love is the most powerful yet destructive emotion in the world but it could make our heart more beautiful.
What advice would you give to someone who is fighting a mental illness?
A lot of people are dealing with depression and I had an experience that also way back before. I can say that not matter how life or situation you are in, don't give up. Suicide is not the best option to cut the pain. You have a life purpose or mission to go forward to your own success or happiness.
What advice would you give to someone who is being bullied or harassed?
I was also once been bullied during my middle school days. It's hard you know. It's also one reason that makes a person could go with depression. For those who got bullied or harassed, you are not weak! You should better stand up for yourself that let the bullies know that you are special.
If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?
What else do you feel strongly about?
I'm quite a sensitive person may be my emotions.
Let's end this with some fun 'This or That' questions:
Love or money?
Can I have both? Let's just love.
Work hard or play hard?
Both because while blogging I can work hard but play harder. Haha.
Cups in the cupboard: right side up or upside down?
Chocolate or sex?
Hmmm...this is tricky, maybe, sex while having chocolate? lol.
Plan everything or wing it?
I'm not quite organising with plans so wing it!
Happiness or money?
Happiness comes first because money can come later.
. . .
